Just saw a mid sive SUV with a Pulse 85 inside it.  It looks like it just fitted all 259cm of  it with room to spare for some paddling gear, the driver and a rear seat passenger.

Jeep Jeep !!!

Just saw this Pulse 95 on a Jeep Wrangler. Asked the owner Justin why the Firebrick Red and he said he loved the colour and told me he was a fireman, I wonder what the connection is ???

I see red, I see red, I see red………….

Great name for a song, anyway we just unpacked some new Tootega Pulses in Firebrick Red and they look great, simply stunning the red is a really rich vibrant colour. They’ll be great on the water.

Plasma Pulse at Goolang

Julie sent us photos of herself on her new Tootega Plasma pink PULSE 85 at Goolang Creek, Nymbodia NSW, which is a great spot to go paddling.

Where is Goolang ?. It’s located near Nymboida a small village about 40 kilometres southwest of Grafton, along the road to Armidale. You can enjoy stunning mountain bush, magnificent waterways and an abundance of wildlife, including many endangered species.

The village is sited near the Nymboida River and Goolang Creek and has a charming heritage style hotel/motel, canoe centre and camp grounds, surrounded by a large amount of beautiful country side.

Julie picked her Pulse 85 and other gear up from a local store,  Skee Kayak Centre, near Goolang. Looks like she had a great time !!!!!

Patterned paddles

On my last trip to Skee Kayaks at Mullaway in northern NSW Col from Skee kindly showed me through his workshop and I spotted some paddle blades with colourful patterns on them. They looked great, Col handcrafts these carefully using glass fibre and a special resin mix to impregnate the fabric, he then sleeves these onto either glass, carbon or carbon kevlar shafts. Visit  Skee Kayaks and see the rest of their range or ask if they’d do a set of paddle blades in your own special print. What a great idea your own custom patterned paddle!!!

Tootega heads to northern NSW

Amanda returned from Ballina and Brunswick Heads NSW after a Paddle Day in both areas over the weekend. The area is a  beautiful part of northern NSW with lots of waterways to explore and beautiful beaches to enjoy. The Tootega range was paddled by lots of people with great success, especially the Pulse 85 and 95.

The days were organised by Blue Sky Outdoors at Ballina, a great camping store, so if you’re ever up that way drop in and have a look at their extensive range.
